Dr Jenny Lenkeit

Dr Jenny Lenkeit is a Research Fellow, Oxford University Centre for Educational Assessment.

Jenny’s background is in Empirical Educational Research and International Comparative Education. Her research interests include the conceptual and methodological link between international large-scale assessments and educational effectiveness research, the impact of large-scale assessments on national and international policy making in education, cross-cultural comparisons, and mechanisms of educational inequalities.

Jenny is actively involved in the Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) 2016 for England and and together with Therese N. Hopfenbeck, Jenny is leading the ESRC funded project PIRLS for Teachers. In this study, researchers and teachers work together on a better understanding and use of national and international PIRLS findings for teachers with the aim of improving teaching practices in the classroom.
