Centre gives two Keynotes

Several members of OUCEA attended the Association for Educational Assessment – Europe’s Annual Conference, which was held in Berlin, 8-10 November 2012. Kathy Sylva, an OUCEA research associate, gave a Keynote entitled “Assessing children’s development in the context of pedagogical variation”. Maria Teresa Florez, having won the AEA-Europe New Researcher Award, gave a Keynote entitled “Systems, ideologies and history: a three-dimensional absence in the study of assessment reform processes”. Yasmine El Masri, as the AEA-Europe doctoral network coordinator, ran a successful workshop.
