Predictability in the Irish Leaving Certificate Thursday, May 7th, 2015

The OUCEA report, Predictability in the Irish Leaving Certificate, commissioned by the State Examinations Commission (SEC) in Ireland, has been published. The overall report is available on the SEC website, along with four working papers: Literature Review & Media Analysis; Examination Materials Research; Student Questionnaire; and Teacher and Student Interviews. Examination Reform: The impact of linear and modular examinations at GCSE Wednesday, April 29th, 2015

OUCEA has secured funding from Ofqual until March 2018 to investigate the impact of linear and modular examinations at GCSE.

OUCEA Annual Lecture Tuesday, April 21st, 2015

Professor Gordon Stobart is giving the OUCEA Annual Lecture on 12th May 2015. The lecture is entitled “What kind of learning do we want? 21st century learning, the standards agenda and expert learners” and will take place at 5.00 pm in the Tsuzuki Lecture Theatre, St Anne’s College, Woodstock Road, Oxford OX2 6HS, followed by a drinks reception.
